Minneapolis Street Sighting: Chevy Nova

Early 1970s Chevy Novas are common as all get out. In fact, I don't even shoot them anymore. Later ones are much harder to come by, and this is the first one I've seen in a long while. Finished in a "may-or-may-not-be-stock" red, with matching steel wheels, it gives off a "Dukes of Hazzard bad guy car" vibe. Even with this notion, it's still a good looking, clean, simple vehicle. Unlike most modern cars, there are no excess lines, no excess chrome, and probably nary a power accessory save for possibly steering and brakes.
Hard to tell what engine this puppy packs, but I'm betting its a either a small (305) V8, or perhaps a six cylinder. Whatever the case, I'm just glad this one hasn't been chopped up and made into A) a drag car, B) a high-riser, or C) scrap metal. Here's hoping it has another thirty years under it's belt. Cause in this condition, it certainly deserves it. And here you try to tell me 'Nova' means doesn't go...
