Minneapolis Street Sighting: Lincoln Mark VII LSC

Rounding out my Lincoln week is this extremely pristine (save for road dust of course) Mark VII LSC. When new, the LSC competed with such prestige cars as the BMW E24, Mercedes SEC coupes; it rode on a stiffer suspension, had dual exhaust, and a more potent version of the 5.0L V8. Also included in the LSC package were 15" alloys, which this car seemed to lack (although I can't determine if the rolling stock on this car are hubcaps or alloys.) The Mark VII was also the first American car to come standard with composite headlights (versus those four square inset lights most cars had.) and ABS.
The paint on this example seemed immaculate, despite the dirt. The trim, too, was intact, and most importantly (to a collector), the LSC badges were not only intact, the whole set was there. Even the foglights were intact, though the versions on this car looked rather aftermarket to be honest. Unlike most of my blog choices, there didn't appear to be any rust or bondo caking the car at all. Inside, this vehicle was amazing shape; no rips or wear patterns on the seats, no sun-fading on the dash, heck, all the interior trim was complete and perfect. A sure sign of a well taken-care-of car in my book.
This car had dealer plates on it, suggesting it was en route to be sold. In the condition this example was in, I'd sure hope whoever snapped this guy up plans to take care of it. The last thing I wanna see is "this whip at Maaco 'naw sayin?"
