Minneapolis Street Sightings: Lincoln Continental Mark VI Bill Blass Edition

Usually when I spot an older Lincoln, its gonna be a four door version, such as Town Car. But, seeing a two door is rare here in any variety. That's what yields this one as such a sweet find! I don't think I've ever seen a Bill Blass Edition ever. I'm not quite sure what this special edition entails, but this is a nice example. The body of this huge two door is in good shape, with no obvious rust or pitting, although the paint does have many years of wear and tear. The factory wire wheels are in good condition, too, and thankfully they haven't been replaced with either gangsta rims or crappy hubcaps. Interior-wise, this thing wasn't that bad. Though I didn't get a good gander at the interior, it seemed to be in decent shape for a car of this vintage. No, it doesn't have a top of the line nav system, and it probably doesn't have a 8 disc CD changer either, but in Mark VI, you don't need that. What you need is good music and a pimp hat. And you're set. Now, put up that cane, and go downtown. No, I'm not advising going into that business, but in the year 1982 and 1983, this car would be a prime example of a car you'd see in a rough part of town stopping for the girls. It would've also been at home at your grandpa's cottage, too. Now, though, these cars are either forgotten in various scrapyards around the country, or roaming the streets with what life they have left. So, I'm gonna try to find these things before they're extinct.
